The Professional Standards Bureau ensures our department meets the highest standards of police service. The Professional Standards Bureau has the responsibility for the compilation of statistics and the summarization and analysis of all Accreditation standards, offenses and State mandated reporting. It is the information center of the Department and serves as the repository of all official and permanent police records or reports not otherwise specifically and properly retained at other divisions of the Department. The Professional Standards Bureau is comprised of such personnel as may be assigned by the Chief of Police. The Chief of Police shall assign personnel to the various clerical and technical functions of the Bureau for its proper operation and the Chief or his designee shall supervise their work performance.
